What better way to tell Mom you love her than with a home made pop-up card! When she opens it she will be surprised with a bouquet of flowers bursting out of it.

• Colored Paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Markers or Pen

Start by taking a piece of colored paper and fold it in half for the card itself. To make the vase take another piece of paper and fold it in half, cutting along the fold. Take one of the halves and fold it in half again. (You can disregard the other half.) Along both edges of the vase make a fold to form a lip. Glue the two lips to the card making sure that the vase flattens when the card is closed.

Next make flowers and steams using glue to attach them to the inside of the vase. You want to make sure that the flowers are hidden when the card is closed. Now you can decorate the vase and the front of the card by gluing on other flower cut outs or decorating with markers.

Finally, write your heart felt message on the card using markers or a pen.
